9月30日上午，为庆祝全球孔子学院日，由马来亚大学孔子学院举办的第四届大学生中文歌唱比赛决赛在孔子学院大礼堂圆满落幕。来自沙安南玛拉工艺大学的Nurainina Natasha Binti Zulkifli和 Nurfarahanim Binti Che Mansor同学分别获得本次比赛的冠军和亚军。
In conjunction of World Confucius Day, the 4th Singing Competition for Malaysian Non-Chinese College Students was held successfully by KongZi Institute University of Malaya on Sep 30th. Nurainina Natasha Binti Zulkifli from UITM Shah Alam Campus emerged as Champion. Nurfarahanim Binti Che Mansor also from the same university with Natasha won the second prize.
In the opening ceremony, Datuk Dr. Azarae, Malaysian Director of KongZi Institute University of Malaya noted that the Mandarin Singing Competition has been the iconic project of KZIUM, and is getting more popular with Mandarin learner and people who love Chinese music. This competition is organized to stimulate students’ interests on Mandarin, and get students improve their competency in Mandarin and further understand the Chinese culture.
This Mandarin Singing Competition is only for non-Chinese students. After the fierce online preliminary contest, 18 contestants from eight universities including UITM, UNIKL, UPM, XMUM were selected to participate in the final round. More than 100 audiences witnessed this competition, and they were fascinated by the superb performance.
The Kong Zi Institute is devoted in satisfying the needs of people all over the world who are interested in learning the Chinese language. By learning the language, people will have a better understanding of the Chinese cultural ways and education system.
