Mandarin Course Level 3 (H2-2)

Course Dates

Saturday June 10, 2018 – Monday August 17, 2018

  • 4hours per week
  • 6:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Duration of each course: 10 weeks
  • Class: Every Monday & Wednesday

Upon completion, students should be able to:

  1. Recognize basic components of characters and radicals;

  2. Identify sounds, forms and meanings of Chinese characters;

  3. Write from memory basic characters with correct strokes and order;

  4. Use basic vocabulary or sentences to communicate with others on familiar topics in writing;

  5. Write short messages on familiar topics in social interactions;

  6. Compose simple narrative or descriptive passages related to personal, family or campus life;

  7. To speak approximately 450 common Chinese characters and phrases;

  8. Sit for HSK(Chinese Proficiency Test) level 2 examinations.
